Corona virus (Covid-19) has caused life to look very different this week than it did just a few weeks ago. Our colleagues, staff, service providers and customers are at the very heart of everything we do, and never has this been truer, than today, as we are all experiencing the unprecedented and evolving nature of covid-19.

Our fight against Covid-19

We are very proud of how our staff have pulled together, during these difficult times to ensure that Caddy Country Practice continues to provide excellent care and services to our customers, whilst observing the strict updated guidelines from the World Health Organisation (WHO) and Public Health England.

We are doing everything we can to help keep our staff, customers and service providers safe at all times. Caddy Country Practice is open and all customers who contact us are advised to wait outside to enable us to deal with each customer safely, cleanse the surfaces and door handles, all equipment and instruments used, before bringing in the next client, in order to prevent the spread of the coronavirus.

Caddy Country Practice is fortunate to be located in the countryside and there is plenty of car park space for clients to either wait in their car, especially the elderly and clients with any form of disability, until they are called in for their pet’s consultation time. In addition, staff at Caddy Country Practice encourage all clients to use the hand sanitisation gels provided. We also have hand washing facilities and a dip bucket with disinfectants for farmers to dip their boots/wellies before they step inside. We use the many open spaces we have to consult clients for both small and large animals, thereby adhering to the social distancing advice.

Providing support during Covid-19

Caddy Country Practice is dedicated to ensure that we can support our colleagues and clients in any way that we can, especially those who find themselves in the position where they need to self-isolate and the elderly. For those who find themselves in this position please give us a call, if you need any advice, help to collect your pet, deliver medication or even get groceries. Our contact details can be found at

Although we are minimising physical contact, increasing hygiene measures, and enhancing daily cleaning routines, our passion and knowledge for what we do remains the same, if not more during these difficult times. We have a young, keen and enthusiastic workforce who are prepared to meet the challenges by engaging in any form of help to serve the community during these difficult times.

Caddy Country Practice is more than just a business organisation. We are part of the one human race, and we would very much like to help each other get through these trying times together and build a community spirit.

Preventing the spread in the workplace

‘Necessity is the Mother of Invention’, and in Caddy Country Practice, we are continually coming up with ways, first and foremost for our staff, to ensure that we protect ourselves within the workplace, and, all our clients and service providers by stepping up simple daily routines, like keeping to using our own pen, drinking mugs, keeping nourished and hydrated, going outside to get fresh air. We have a display unit outside our door providing information to prevent Covid-19.

We ask all our clients and service providers to help protect themselves and others by adhering to WHO and Public Health England guidelines by joining Caddy Country Practice in these increased hygiene and safety measures to prevent the spread of the Covid-19 virus.

Thank you.
